Job Requirements
- experience with CRM databases, LinkedIn social selling, MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint), and virtual meeting software
- associate degree in a related field
- sales-related professional development or on-the-job training
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years in a hunter, sales development, or business development role
- proven success in penetrating new business accounts and working with C-level contacts
- background in commissionable and/or performance-driven incentivised roles
- very strong written and verbal communication skills
- strategic thinker with a creative approach to sales targets
- ability to diagnose business challenges and position solutions as strategic enablers rather than just services
- proficiency in researching company priorities, pain points, and decision-making structures
- comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- develop new sales opportunities to drive pipeline volume, value and velocity
- conduct research to build prospect lists and tailor access messaging
- utilize prospecting tools like ZoomInfo and LinkedIn
- execute multi-touch sales cadences to gain access to decision-makers, including C-suite, through phone, email and social
- prospect medium to large businesses including Fortune 500 companies, and multinational conglomerates
- attend virtual customer meetings, perform needs analysis and transition opportunities to closers
- position Purolator and yourself as industry thought leaders with the use of marketing content and social selling techniques
