Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years experience in outbound-focused sales or other customer-oriented roles such as support or customer service
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • willingness to learn and adapt
  • based in or near Ann Arbor, MI
  • legal authorization to work in the United States

  • ability to tell compelling stories and engage customers
  • fast learner with aptitude to acquire new skills related to client collaboration technology
  • strong time management and organizational skills
  • team player with collaboration and listening skills
  • driven and goal-oriented
  • knowledge of public accounting or professional tax preparation is a plus
  • 1-2 years experience in outbound sales or customer-facing roles
  • experience with sales development representative (SDR) or business development representative (BDR) roles is a plus
  • familiarity with Salesforce CRM is desirable

Job Duties

  • reach out to prospective customers via outbound phone calls, email, and video to introduce SafeSend and related products
  • develop ongoing relationships by being a resource and demonstrating product knowledge
  • cultivate prospects to move them from initial contact to appointments or product demos
  • create unique and creative outreach efforts to generate interest
  • make outbound calls to collect information and set or confirm appointments
  • collaborate with marketing to enhance prospect outreach methods
  • assist sales executives in following up with customers and prospects
  • strive to meet and exceed targets for contacts, appointments, and sales pipeline growth
  • maintain curiosity and motivation to deliver excellent job performance and explore other roles within the organization
