Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least one year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Ability to perform office duties such as filing, emailing, typing, faxing, and copying
  • Proficient with sales-related document preparation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work full time on-site at The US Grant hotel in San Diego
  • Adherence to company policies and professional appearance
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds
  • Strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least one year of related work experience
  • Ability to use sales software and perform data entry accurately
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality

  • Team player with positive interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Perform general office duties to support sales and marketing including filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, copying
  • Prepare sales-related documents such as proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders
  • Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally
  • Gather materials and assemble information packages including brochures and promotional materials
  • Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty
  • Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information in sales process software including commissions, leads, and third parties
  • Answer guest questions about property facilities, services, rates, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, and special events
