Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- minimum one year related industry experience preferred
- proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Manages sales and marketing functions to maximize effectiveness and achieve business goals
- maintains booking system for the facility
- provides assistance and support to Director of Sales and Marketing as required
- maintains sales collateral inventory and advises Director when additional materials are needed
- coordinates and manages all information input into the facility’s booking system including revising and updating booking data
- tracks contracts, rental deposits, insurance payments, and insurance certificates
- provides regular updates to Director and sales personnel on outstanding contracts, deposits, and certificates
- serves as liaison with Director and SMG’s Corporate MIS Department regarding booking procedures and system issues
- provides assistance by taking booking requests from prospective clients via telephone or in person
- creates and maintains event files
- handles telephone inquiries regarding events at the facility maintaining a professional attitude
- follows up with client requests for information
- manages administrative activities related to sales efforts such as updating booking information, maintaining customer database, creating event masters, and distributing reports
- creates event flyers for display boards and maintains event boards
- checks references on Promoter Applications
- creates contracts, prints calendars, and places holds on booking system for Director
- manages file cabinets and archives old files
- attends weekly production meetings
- performs all other duties as assigned by Director of Sales
