Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in tourism, hospitality management, business, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience in tourism sales, destination marketing, or hospitality sales
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- Knowledge of destination marketing organizations and tourism industry dynamics
Job Duties
- Promote Mississippi's tourism assets statewide and nationally to drive visitation
- Execute sales strategies aligned with Visit Mississippi's goals
- Identify and pursue new domestic market opportunities
- Support the Chief Sales Officer in meeting sales targets
- Build and maintain relationships with DMOs, CVBs, attractions, and stakeholders
- Represent Visit Mississippi at regional and national trade shows and events
- Support destination development efforts by identifying product gaps and market opportunities
- Track sales activity and prepare reports
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams
