Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- Computer knowledge and skills required
- Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently
- Maintain warm and friendly demeanor at all times
- Effective communication with all levels of employees and guests
- Ability to listen, understand and clarify concerns
- Multitask and meet deadlines
- Attend all required meetings and trainings
- Maintain regular attendance per hotel standards
- High standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Compliance with hotel standards and safety regulations
- Problem-solving skills including anticipating, preventing and identifying issues
- Ability to apply complex information
- Cross-train in other hotel areas
- Maintain confidentiality

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- College coursework in a related field helpful
- Proficient computer knowledge and skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
- Attendance at hotel meetings and training
- Capability to maintain confidentiality of information
- Ability to show initiative and anticipate guest or operational needs
- Comfortable working flexible and long hours when required
Job Duties
- Answer telephone and email messages
- Open and distribute mail
- Maintain and stay abreast of the latest computer programs and innovations
- Filing of all pertinent correspondence in a timely manner
- Type all correspondence pertaining to department
- Maintain adequate inventory of office supplies
- Responsible for the smooth operation of the office
- Type and distribute meeting minutes
- Maintain trace file as needed
- Prepare Banquet Event Orders as per client needs
- Assist with daily operations of the Business Center as needed
- Assist in copying, faxing, mailing
- Greet guests, clients, employees when necessary
- Attend meetings and training as required by management
