Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous sales or event management experience preferred
- strong communication skills
- proficiency in technology and typing
- physical ability to lift at least 25 pounds
- ability to work well in a team environment
- excellent organizational skills

- Previous sales or event management experience in hospitality or travel industry is preferred

Job Duties
- Prepare showrooms and give tours to walk-in customers
- create and distribute flyers for special events
- oversee group blocks and rooming lists ensuring accuracy using reservation system
- work with clients to finalize event details and communicate requirements to relevant departments
- maintain an updated database of clients, prospects, and past guests
- provide clerical support to the Director of Sales and Sales team members as requested
- order and inventory sales amenities and supplies
- provide support and sales insight to the Front Desk team
- order Planner Points post events
- post group deposits, payments and charges
- create pre-event estimates/invoices and post-event receipts/final charges
- communicate with groups to ensure billing and detail accuracy
- maintain sales files
