Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of relevant hospitality experience in sales, front desk, event planning, or customer service
- ability to work weekends and holidays
- proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- strong communication and organizational skills
- experience handling sales documentation and client interactions
- familiarity with hotel sales software preferred
- ability to multitask and collaborate across departments
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in hotel sales, front desk, event planning, or customer service within the hospitality industry
- experience with handling contracts, reports, and sales documentation
- proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- strong interpersonal skills with client communication experience
- familiarity with hotel sales software or property management systems is a plus
- experience in coordinating meetings, banquets, or group bookings
- experience with social media, promotional campaigns, or local business outreach
Job Duties
- Assist the sales team in generating leads, preparing proposals, and coordinating contracts to secure group bookings, corporate accounts, and events
- act as a point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries, following up on leads, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the booking process
- work closely with clients and internal teams to plan and execute meetings, conferences, and special events, ensuring all requirements are met
- maintain accurate records in the hotel’s sales system, track room block usage, generate reports, and handle billing and invoicing related to sales activities
- assist in marketing efforts by creating promotional materials, updating social media accounts, and supporting local networking events to attract business
- liaise with the front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage teams to ensure seamless service for group reservations and special events
- support the achievement of hotel sales targets by actively contributing to revenue strategies, upselling services, and monitoring competitor activity
