Job Requirements

  • Valid Texas Class C driver’s license or equivalent
  • 100% on-site work availability
  • willing to work extended hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to pass background investigation
  • ability to pass drug/alcohol screening
  • reliable transportation
  • physically able to work indoors and outdoors
  • availability from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in event management or facility rental coordination
  • strong negotiation and communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • valid driver’s license with good driving record
  • ability to work in a noisy environment
  • strong organizational skills
  • customer service experience

Job Duties

  • Serve as main contact for event facility rental bookings
  • schedule all events for Beaumont Civic Center, Julie Rogers Theatre, and Jefferson Theatre
  • prospect within national, regional, and state areas to develop rental of city facilities
  • negotiate contracts with lessees in accordance with policies and procedures
  • establish and maintain events calendar
  • maintain good working relationships with producers and promoters
  • assist with sales planning and strategies
  • coordinate with administrative and operations staff
  • work at events and venues
  • perform other duties as required
