Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years sales or marketing experience
- High school graduate or GED diploma
- Proven wine and spirits knowledge
- Effective communication skills
- Valid unexpired driver’s license
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and background screenings
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to complete required I-9 form
- Proficiency with IOS, Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Goal oriented and self-motivated
- Ability to travel extensively by automobile within territory
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years sales or marketing experience in on or off premise sales within wine and spirits industry
- Proven knowledge of wine and spirits
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency with IOS platforms, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated self-motivation, goal orientation, and solution minded approach
- Positive team player with proactive attitude
- Valid and unexpired driver’s license
- Willingness to travel extensively by automobile within territory
Job Duties
- Plan and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue and volume brand goals
- Grow assigned territory by managing established accounts
- Generate new accounts using available company resources and software
- Build internal relationships with departments including Customer Service, Accounts Receivables, Operations, and IT
- Participate in Winebow educational programs and company initiatives to cultivate wine knowledge
- Manage time effectively and demonstrate self-motivation
- Organize and attend events such as tastings, dinners, sales meetings, and company activities
- Travel extensively by automobile within assigned territory
- Perform physical tasks including lifting cases, building displays, and replenishing stock
- Communicate regularly with management and internal teams to ensure sales targets are achieved
