Job Requirements
- 2+ years of outside sales experience in perishable food products
- seafood experience highly preferred
- 2-5 years professional sales in foodservice industry or 5-7 years in chef/restaurant management
- degree in business, sales, marketing, hospitality, culinary arts preferred or 3+ years relevant experience
- advanced English verbal communication skills
- proficiency in MS Office, presentation software, and social media platforms
- highly motivated and personable
- ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
- open to change and quick learner
- self-starter with effective time and priority management
- detail-oriented, enthusiastic, resourceful, and professional
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Cultivate new business opportunities through networking and consultative sales
- manage and expand existing accounts by building trust and providing customized product solutions
- collaborate with chefs, restaurant owners, and stakeholders to exceed expectations
- represent and promote premium seafood, humanely raised meats, poultry, game, and gourmet products
- stay updated on industry trends, customer preferences, and market dynamics
- partner with product, category, purchasing, and operations teams to align inventory with customer demand
- coordinate with accounting to establish credit terms and maintain documentation
- develop and execute strategic sales plans
- organize and prioritize daily activities for timely follow-ups and issue resolution
- prepare proposals and maintain detailed sales records
- utilize customer management systems and social media for prospect research
- act as trusted consultant addressing inquiries and resolving issues
- conduct follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction
- work with senior staff and Sales Director to develop pricing strategies
- foster a culture of teamwork and innovation
