Job Requirements

  • Potential to stock merchandise, assist customers, and operate cash register
  • demonstrated math and reading skills
  • physical ability to lift specified weights and stand for extended time
  • availability from 7:15am to 3:45pm Monday-Friday
  • ability to work weekends
  • lawful authorization to work in the US
  • completion of federal background checks
  • compliance with selective service registration if applicable
  • residency requirements
  • willingness to participate in direct deposit
  • no employment in chain of command of relatives

Job Qualifications

  • High school coursework, GED, or high school diploma
  • ability to read, comprehend and explain product literature
  • basic math skills including counting, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • ability to lift 10 pounds routinely and occasionally 25 pounds
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • previous retail merchandising or cashier experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Welcome customers
  • maintain product knowledge and help with merchandise selection
  • respond promptly to customer concerns
  • sell merchandise and provide product demonstrations or explanations
  • conduct stock counts and participate in inventories
  • replenish stock and maintain merchandise display
  • operate cash register handling various payment methods
  • maintain sales records and balance cash till
  • perform price changes and set up promotions
  • follow all loss prevention policies and safety standards
  • work weekends as required
  • perform other duties as assigned
