Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous retail or cashier experience preferred
  • ability to handle cash accurately
  • excellent communication skills
  • friendly and approachable demeanor
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • basic knowledge of merchandise
  • ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • willingness to assist in multiple store functions as needed

Job Duties

  • Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
  • accurately and efficiently ring on registers and maintain all cash and media at the registers
  • maintain orderly appearance of cash wrap
  • receive payment by cash, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits
  • communicate the MStyle Loyalty Program to customers and ask them to sign up
  • issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers
  • count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure amounts are correct and adequate change
  • assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and general housekeeping when requested by management
  • assist in processing and replenishing merchandise
  • participate in preparation for cycle counts
  • assist customers in fitting rooms as needed
  • answer customer questions and get a manager if answers do not solve the issue
  • clean shelves, counters, tables, racks, fixtures, employee restroom, stockroom, break room, sweep or mop when assigned
