Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to read, write and communicate in English
- must be able to pass skills and knowledge assessment testing
- pass drug test and criminal background check
- physical ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, push and pull
- ability to lift up to 40 pounds and team lift or use equipment for heavier items
- ability to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends

Job Duties
- Use a computer-based register system
- perform basic financial calculations for cash handling and register balancing
- count till before and after each shift and reconcile drawer amounts
- provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and answering questions
- meet production standards for stemming, hanging, pricing, sorting, stocking, and pulling merchandise
- rotate products consistently
- sort donations according to company guidelines
- price donated goods within Goodwill guidelines
- properly handle and process incoming donations including use of pallet jack
- train and develop team members
- maintain punctual and dependable attendance
- demonstrate professionalism and friendly attitude
- assist with loading and unloading merchandise
- support store security
- notify management of inventory levels
- perform janitorial tasks as needed
- adhere to all Goodwill policies regarding sales, exchanges, cash handling, and safety
- ensure positive customer and donor experience
- work flexible schedule including nights and weekends
- perform other duties as assigned
