Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must have a pleasant and willing attitude with a servant’s heart
- Commitment to the mission and values of Mel Trotter Ministries
- Ability to stand up to 100 percent of the work day
- Ability to walk up to 75 percent of the work day
- Ability to sit less than 50 percent of the work day
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Must work well in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a problem solver who can take initiative
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must attend required training and meetings
- Ability to maintain store appearance and safety
- Must adhere to cash handling policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to write legibly and clearly

- Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Problem solver with initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to meet production goals within first 90 days
- Basic computer skills including typing and web browsing
- Ability to interpret and follow written or oral instructions
Job Duties
- Assist the retail management team in building the team by being an example of revealing Christ to all staff, donors, and customers
- Provide a friendly and joyful welcoming to all customers
- Assist in register transactions including handling cash and credit card payments
- Establish and maintain customer service standards
- Maintain the store's physical appearance including restocking supplies and cleaning
- Clean and maintain fitting rooms regularly
- Assist in stocking shelves and clothing racks
- Help set up or change store displays under management direction
- Communicate daily all events related to customer service issues, register mistakes, employee issues, and general store operations to the manager
- Attend all required training events and store meetings
- Perform opening and closing procedures in compliance with company policies
