Job Qualifications

- Knowledge of retail operations preferred but not required
- Prior experience working with cash registers or POS systems preferred
Job Duties
- Greet customers timely and courteously in person and via phone to provide excellent customer service
- Operate cash register or POS system ensuring accurate sales data, pricing, and information codes
- Handle cash transactions properly including processing promotions, discounts, and the Round Up program
- Maintain cleanliness of front doors, counters, glass, and keep the front of store tidy
- Assist with promotional activities such as customer information and special signage displays
- Stock shelves, rotate merchandise, and maintain neat cash wrap areas
- Report safety hazards and adhere to safety protocols
- Train new cashiers
- Clean dressing rooms and re-hang clothes
- Ensure store security relating to theft and proper cash handling
