Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail sales experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible part-time hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong customer service skills
- Basic math and communication abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Must be able to process transactions accurately according to company policy
Job Qualifications
- Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively with customers and employees
- Basic communication skills both verbal and non-verbal
- Basic organization and math skills
- Experience in retail sales preferably specialty retail or footwear
- Basic knowledge of the policies and procedures
- Basic visual merchandising skills and understanding of store presentation standards
Job Duties
- Create an excellent shopping experience for customers through awareness and company service standards
- Maintain awareness of all current sales promotions
- Maintain merchandise presentation and ensure stock is well arranged
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
- Develop and maintain product knowledge and fitting skills
- Maintain awareness of loss prevention concerns
- Participate in physical inventories, assist in shipping and receiving merchandise
- Process all sales and POS terminal transactions in accordance with policy and procedure
