Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail sales experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong customer service orientation
- Basic proficiency with point of sale systems
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively with customers and employees
- Basic communication skills including verbal and non-verbal
- Organizational and basic math skills
- Experience in retail sales preferably in specialty retail or footwear
- Basic knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Basic visual merchandising skills and understanding of store presentation standards
Job Duties
- Create an excellent shopping experience for customers through awareness and company service standards
- Maintain awareness of all current sales promotions
- Maintain merchandise presentation including stocking and store cleanliness
- Develop and maintain product knowledge and fitting skills
- Maintain awareness of loss prevention concerns
- Participate in physical inventories and assist in shipping, receiving, and merchandise placement
- Process all sales and POS terminal transactions in accordance with company policy and procedure
