Job Requirements
- Frequently operate cash register
- Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs
- Frequently ascend and descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock
- Frequently kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in stock room and sales floor
- Frequently communicate and exchange information with customers, managers, and coworkers
- Frequently move across sales floor assisting customers and stock room duties
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and potentially overnight shifts
- Must be able to identify and discern instructions via email and print
- Must be able to remain stationary and upright 80% of the time
Job Qualifications
- At least 16 years old
- Available to work a flexible schedule
- Comfortable with or willing to learn technology such as cash registers and mobile devices
- Good communicator with the ability to engage customers
- Able to handle customer interactions courteously and professionally
- Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
- Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on-the-job training
Job Duties
- Greet and assist customers promptly
- Understand and meet customer needs by sharing product knowledge and offering recommendations
- Promote store events and promotions
- Resolve customer concerns and aim to turn returns into exchanges
- Communicate needs to management regarding restocking and customer feedback
- Support team and company goals through collaboration
- Operate cash register and maintain store cleanliness
