Job Requirements
- Frequently operate cash register
- frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place or remove merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet
- frequently ascend or descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock
- frequently kneel, bend, twist, and stoop including in stock room and sales floor
- frequently communicate and exchange information with customers, managers, and coworkers
- frequently move across sales floor assisting customers and to and from stock room
- ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts and travel as required
- able to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, schedules, and procedures
- able to remain in a stationary upright position for 80% of the time
Job Qualifications
- At least 16 years old
- available to work a flexible schedule
- comfortable with or willing to learn technology such as cash registers and mobile devices
- good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
- able to handle customer interactions courteously and professionally
- use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
- ability to learn procedural knowledge through on-the-job training
