Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work part-time hours
- experience in retail sales preferred
- basic computer skills for POS transactions
- strong customer service orientation
- ability to maintain cash handling accuracy
- physical ability to participate in inventory and merchandise movement
- willingness to follow company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- experience in retail sales, preferably specialty retail or footwear
- interpersonal skills to deal effectively with customers and employees
- basic communication skills both verbal and non-verbal
- basic organizational and math skills
- basic knowledge of policies and procedures
- basic visual merchandising skills and understanding of store presentation standards
Job Duties
- create an excellent shopping experience through awareness and company service standards
- maintain awareness of all current sales promotions
- maintain merchandise presentation and proper stock arrangement
- develop and maintain product knowledge and fitting skills
- maintain awareness of loss prevention concerns
- participate in physical inventories, shipping, receiving, and merchandise placement
- process all sales and POS terminal transactions according to policies
