Job Requirements
- Frequently operate cash register
- Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs
- Frequently ascend and descend ladders
- Frequently kneel, bend, twist, and stoop
- Communicate accurately with customers, managers, and coworkers
- Move across sales floor and stock room as needed
- Ability to work day, evening, weekend, overnight shifts, and travel as required
- Identify and follow email and print instructions
- Remain stationary in an upright position for 80 percent of the time
Job Qualifications
- At least 16 years old
- Available to work a flexible schedule
- Comfortable with or willing to learn technology such as cash registers and mobile devices
- Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
- Able to handle customer interactions courteously and professionally
- Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
- Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on-the-job training
Job Duties
- Greet and assist customers promptly
- Understand and meet customer needs by sharing product knowledge and offering recommendations
- Promote store events and promotions
- Resolve customer concerns and provide alternative solutions
- Communicate restocking needs and customer feedback to management
- Collaborate with team members to support store and company goals
