Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail sales experience preferred
- Ability to work part-time hours including evenings and weekends
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic math and organizational abilities
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Capability to handle cash transactions accurately

- Experience in retail sales preferably specialty retail or footwear
- Basic knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Basic visual merchandising skills and understanding of store presentation standards
Job Duties
- Create an excellent shopping experience for customers through awareness and company service standards
- Maintain awareness of all current sales promotions
- Maintain merchandise presentation ensuring stock is well arranged and store areas are clean and organized
- Develop and maintain necessary product knowledge and fitting skills
- Maintain awareness of loss prevention concerns involving customers and staff members
- Participate in physical inventories, assist in shipping and receiving merchandise, and participate in merchandise placement on the sales floor when needed
- Process all sales and POS terminal transactions in accordance with policy and procedure
- Control cash and maintain accuracy of sales transactions
- Lead other team members by example in accuracy and completeness of work
