Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail sales experience preferred
- Ability to work part-time hours including weekends and holidays
- Basic math and communication skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to handle cash accurately
- Willingness to learn and work within a team environment
Job Qualifications
- Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with customers and employees
- Basic communication, organization, and math skills
- Experience in retail sales, preferably specialty retail or footwear
- Basic knowledge of retail policies and procedures
- Basic visual merchandising skills and understanding of store presentation standards
Job Duties
- Create an excellent shopping experience for customers through awareness of company service standards
- Maintain awareness of all current sales promotions
- Maintain merchandise presentation including proper stock arrangement and cleanliness
- Develop and maintain product knowledge and fitting skills
- Maintain awareness of loss prevention concerns
- Participate in physical inventories and assist in shipping and receiving merchandise
- Process all sales and POS terminal transactions in accordance with company policy and procedures
