Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior retail sales experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible part-time hours
- Strong customer service orientation
- Basic understanding of point of sale (POS) systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures

- Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with customers and employees

- Experience in retail sales preferably in specialty retail or footwear
- Basic knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Basic visual merchandising skills and understanding of store presentation standards
Job Duties
- Create an excellent shopping experience for customers through awareness and company service standards
- Maintain awareness of all current sales promotions
- Maintain merchandise presentation by ensuring stock is well arranged and merchandised properly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all store areas
- Develop and maintain product knowledge and fitting skills
- Maintain awareness of loss prevention concerns involving customers and staff
- Participate in physical inventories, assist in shipping and receiving merchandise, and assist with merchandise placement
- Process all sales and POS terminal transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures
