Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior retail sales experience preferred
- Ability to work part-time hours
- Basic math and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to merchandise handling
- Customer service oriented
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures

- Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively with customers and employees at all levels
- Basic communication skills including verbal and non-verbal

- Experience in retail sales, preferably in specialty retail or footwear

Job Duties
- Create an excellent shopping experience for customers through awareness and company service standards
- Maintain awareness of all current sales promotions
- Maintain merchandise presentation and ensure stock is well arranged and merchandised properly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all store areas
- Develop and maintain necessary product knowledge and fitting skills
- Maintain awareness of loss prevention concerns involving customers and staff
- Participate in physical inventories, assist in shipping and receiving merchandise, and merchandise placement on the sales floor
- Process all sales and POS terminal transactions in accordance with policy and procedure
- Control cash and maintain accuracy of sales transactions
