Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous retail sales experience
  • ability to maintain accurate sales transactions and cash handling
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work part-time hours as scheduled
  • basic math and organizational skills
  • awareness of loss prevention policies
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking and inventory

  • Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively with external contacts and all levels of employees

  • basic math skills
  • experience in retail sales preferably in specialty retail or footwear
  • basic knowledge of company policies and procedures
  • basic visual merchandising skills and understanding of store presentation standards

Job Duties

  • Create an excellent shopping experience for customers through awareness and company service standards
  • maintain awareness of all current sales promotions
  • maintain merchandise presentation and ensure stock is well arranged and merchandised properly
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of all store areas
  • develop and maintain necessary product knowledge and fitting skills
  • maintain awareness of loss prevention concerns involving customers and staff
  • participate in physical inventories and assist in shipping and receiving merchandise
  • process all sales and POS terminal transactions according to policy and procedure
