Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in retail sales preferred
- Ability to work part-time hours
- Comfortable using POS systems
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively with customers and employees
- Basic communication skills including verbal and non-verbal communication
- Organization skills
- Math skills
- Experience in retail sales preferably specialty retail or footwear
- Basic knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Basic visual merchandising skills and understanding of store presentation standards
Job Duties
- Create an excellent shopping experience for our customers through awareness and company service standards
- Maintain awareness of all current sales promotions
- Maintain merchandise presentation including proper arrangement and cleanliness
- Develop and maintain necessary product knowledge and fitting skills
- Maintain an awareness of loss prevention concerns
- Participate in physical inventories, shipping and receiving, and merchandise placement
- Process all sales and POS terminal transactions according to policy and procedure
