Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to read, write and communicate in English
- must be able to pass skills and knowledge assessment testing
- pass drug test and criminal background check
- ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, push and pull
- ability to lift up to 40 pounds and use team lift or equipment for items over 40 pounds
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
- punctual and dependable attendance
- adherence to all Goodwill policies and procedures

Job Duties
- Use a computer-based register system
- perform basic financial calculations for cash handling and register balancing
- count till before and after shifts and reconcile drawer amounts
- provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and answering basic store questions
- meet production standards for stemming, hanging, pricing, sorting, stocking, and pulling merchandise
- rotate products constantly
- sort donations according to company guidelines
- perform basic calculations for tracking donations and pricing goods
- handle incoming and outgoing donations following Goodwill policies using equipment like pallet jacks
- assist in training and developing team members
- have punctual and dependable attendance
- demonstrate professionalism and maintain a friendly attitude
- help load and unload store merchandise
- assist in store security
- notify management of inventory issues
- perform janitorial work as needed
- adhere to policies on sales, exchanges, cash handling, and safety
- perform duties in line with Goodwill's Guiding Principles
- ensure positive customer and donor experiences
- work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
- perform other duties as assigned
