Job Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 45 pounds independently and heavier objects with assistance
- Ability to work indoors and potentially outdoors or in cooler areas with PPE
- Willingness to complete additional training or certifications as required, including food safety and fuel safety
- Willingness to adhere to EEO and safety standards
- Ability to work flexible schedules including different facility areas
- Eligibility to pass National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI) background check
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience in customer and sales-focused environment preferred
- Cash handling and basic math skills strongly preferred
- Experience with register operations preferred
- Ability to understand and execute operating standards and procedures for service and sales
- Commitment to service and sales goals in a high-performance atmosphere
- Attention to detail in daily tasks
Job Duties
- Provide world-class customer service with an emphasis on courtesy
- Assist customers in retail business operations in a friendly and proactive manner
- Support various facility areas including cashier, salesfloor, customer service, stockroom, and military clothing
- Use basic retail equipment like cash registers, RF scanners, and signage tools
- Perform store operations including inventory preparation, planogram revisions, and visual merchandising
- Maintain store cleanliness through light housekeeping tasks such as sweeping and dusting
- Adhere to safety regulations and participate in fuel safety training if assigned to gas station duties
