Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- minimum 15 years of sales experience in full-service or luxury hospitality
- at least 10 years in senior leadership roles
- proven success in large group meetings and leisure sales
- strong collaboration with cross-functional teams
- experience managing key accounts
- knowledge of Napa Valley market
- excellent communication and negotiation skills
- ability to work in complex multi-property or owner-operator environments
Job Qualifications

- proven expertise in large group meetings, leisure, and multi-segment sales
- strong collaboration skills with marketing, revenue, F&B, and conference services
- demonstrated success managing house and key accounts
- deep market knowledge of Napa Valley and corporate meeting trends
- exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- experience in owner-operator or multi-property environments
Job Duties
- Lead the property-based sales organization with accountability and excellence
- develop and execute the annual group and meetings strategy
- collaborate with marketing, revenue, and corporate sales teams for demand and pipeline optimization
- oversee group and event sales activities ensuring strong team collaboration
- maintain oversight of house accounts and key client relationships
- partner with leisure sales to capture incremental business
- build brand-aligned campaigns with marketing
- maximize banquet and catering conversion with event and F&B teams
- ensure seamless coordination between sales and event services
- lead, mentor, and develop high-performing sales team with clear KPIs
- conduct regular 1:1s with sales members for coaching and accountability
- enforce performance standards on smart plan accuracy, pipeline development, shop call quality, lead response and follow-up
- foster a culture of integrity and collaboration
- own departmental P&L including revenue growth and cost control
- partner with revenue management on forecasting and pricing strategies
- collaborate with food and beverage and events to capitalize revenue opportunities
- represent the resort at industry events and strategic partnerships
