Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • bachelor's degree preferred
  • prior sales experience preferred
  • intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and social media platforms
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and event days
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • creative mindset and proactive problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in marketing, public relations, communications, hospitality or sports management, business or related field preferred
  • prior sales experience preferred
  • basic knowledge and interest in marketing and advertising functions
  • intermediate to strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Salesforce.com
  • understands the concept of branding
  • intermediate knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
  • working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • previous event or entertainment marketing experience a plus
  • excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English
  • well organized with ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments
  • flexible with availability to work evenings, weekends, and event days
  • team player who is creative and a proactive problem solver

Job Duties

  • assist with the managing day-to-day digital marketing program including social media and analytics
  • provide creative support to the sales team including preparing presentations and proposals
  • assist with grassroots marketing efforts such as poster and flyer distribution and community appearances
  • generate new and creative marketing ideas to attract and promote events including social media and food and beverage promotions
  • update website, marquee, and digital display systems
  • assist with sales, marketing, and solicitation of new business opportunities
  • maintain complete and accurate customer records
  • assist in fulfilling premium seating and advertising partnerships
  • coordinate client welcome gifts
  • assist in planning and coordinating theme night promotions and special events
  • improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes
  • research and provide creative sales and fan experience approaches
  • prepare written agreements including negotiated terms
  • recruit and assist managing student interns and part-time sales staff
  • participate in developing and implementing event marketing plans and promotions
  • interact with other departments on projects
  • perform all other duties as assigned
