Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in hospitality, administrative support, or customer service oriented environment
  • strong interest in hospitality sales, events, and guest service
  • familiarity with sales systems and hotel software
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • positive attitude and collaborative mindset
  • bachelor's degree preferred but not required

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in hospitality, administrative support, or customer service oriented environment
  • strong interest in hospitality sales, events, and guest service with a desire to grow into client-facing role
  • familiarity with sales systems and hotel software including Delphi, Knowland, ZoomInfo, UKG, and AI-assisted research tools
  • strong organizational and time management skills with a proactive approach
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills with professional tone
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • ability to multitask and stay composed in fast-paced team setting
  • positive attitude and collaborative mindset aligned with Proper's culture
  • bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, communications or related field preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Monitor and manage incoming leads across multiple channels including shared sales inbox, Cvent, phone inquiries, and CRM
  • research group and organization history before assignment
  • distribute leads to appropriate sales managers based on vertical and business priorities
  • serve as first point of contact for inbound inquiries ensuring a polished guest experience
  • execute team solicitation initiatives as directed by sales leadership
  • utilize systems to identify and distribute qualified leads
  • log and track solicitation activities in CRM for pipeline visibility
  • cross-reference reports and contract terms to verify commission eligibility
  • coordinate with accounting for invoice processing and payouts
  • maintain up-to-date commission tracker and resolve discrepancies
  • prepare and distribute daily events report
  • apply formatting and naming standards for reports
  • manage outlet booking report and ensure industry classification accuracy
  • support ad hoc reporting for sales strategy and event pacing
  • assist with office supply ordering and inventory management
  • submit and track reimbursement requests and vendor purchase orders
  • maintain organized records and tools to support operational efficiency and communication
