Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality, tourism, marketing, or related field
- Minimum two years progressive experience in sales, hospitality, tourism, marketing, or related field
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience developing and implementing sales strategies and plans
- Demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships and negotiate contracts
- Texas Class C driver’s license

Job Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to promote Sugar Land as a premier tourism destination
- Maintain active tourism sales prospecting including lead research, outreach, and pipeline tracking
- Manage and maintain the Visit Sugar Land CRM with accurate account documentation and updates
- Prepare and submit RFP responses, bid proposals, and customized sales presentations
- Serve as primary contact for sales inquiries and client relationships, pursuing RFP opportunities and new business leads
- Coordinate with local hotels on room block availability, rates, and servicing needs
- Support meetings and events through pre-event coordination, client communication, and post-event follow-up
- Maintain internal reporting and performance tracking including CRM metrics, Symphony data, sales summaries, and Board reports
- Assist executing partner engagement initiatives such as site visits, sales calls, trainings, and tourism awareness
- Provide administrative and on-site support for FIFA-related activations and other citywide tourism initiatives
- Perform other duties as directed by the Assistant Director of Tourism
