Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1-3 years of hospitality sales experience
- Knowledge and expertise in sales and/or event management
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail in business correspondence
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions
- Strong personal skills including time management, information analysis, problem-solving, planning and organizing, decision making, and delivery of results
- Mathematical proficiency in operations like addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of hospitality sales platforms is a plus
- Ability to travel including air or car, overnight hotel stays, and client entertainment
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Meet and exceed sales goals of assigned market segments through proactive sales efforts
- Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to achieve revenue goals
- Manage key client relationships and identify new target markets
- Maintain accurate and timely sales records and client contact information
- Report weekly achievements against sales goals and adjust strategies accordingly
- Solicit and secure new business through outside sales calls
- Participate in trade shows, promotional events, and conduct site inspections
- Respond to inbound requests for proposals within 24 hours
- Negotiate client contracts and utilize closing tactics
- Differentiate offerings from competitors and add value to customer proposals
- Implement sales plans to maximize market share based on demand segments
- Obtain and coordinate event planning details including meeting setups and AV requirements
- Act as liaison between operations and clients
- Monitor client satisfaction throughout event planning and execution
- Prepare event orders, diagrams, and related documents for distribution
- Conduct interdepartmental meetings to review event details
- Manage accounts and follow up for repeat business
- Achieve assigned goals and objectives
- Maximize efficiencies in time management and productivity
- Forecast revenue for assigned groups
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships within departments and with clients
- Ensure compliance with accounting and billing standards
- Confirm accurate revenue posting and client billing
- Attend required meetings and adhere to company policies
