Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, marketing, or related field preferred

Job Qualifications

  • thorough understanding of the hotel industry, market trends, competitor landscape, and sales techniques
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients
  • strong leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team to achieve goals and exceed expectations
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify opportunities, and make strategic decisions
  • commitment to providing exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships with clients
  • willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required

Job Duties

  • develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to boost room and catering revenues
  • analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth and innovation
  • cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel agents, and other potential customers
  • conduct meetings, presentations, and site tours to showcase hotel facilities, catering services, and food and beverage offerings
  • maximize food, beverage and meeting room rental through effective pricing strategies and revenue management techniques
  • identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling of hotel amenities, catering packages, and dining experiences to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue
  • foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and professional growth
  • work with corporate marketing partners to develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotional activities to drive awareness and demand for hotel catering services, and food and beverage offerings
  • collaborate with the marketing team to create marketing materials, advertisements, and online content
  • participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the hotel and its hospitality services
