Job Requirements
- Approach all encounters in a friendly, service-oriented manner

- Type, process, and distribute contracts and correspondence
- Answer phones promptly and professionally
- Assist guests and clients with changes and requests
- Enter data accurately in sales systems
- Monitor and order office and promotional supplies
- Organize event-related logistics and deliveries
- Maintain confidentiality and open communication
- Flexibility to work varied hours including long shifts
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Ability to communicate clearly and travel if necessary
- Capable of handling high-pressure situations and managing differing personalities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate Degree or two to three years of related experience or training
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Skilled in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Familiarity with Marriott CI/TY, MARSHA, or LightSpeed systems preferred
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and analyze problems
- Understanding of hotel market trends and customer needs
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Assist the Director of Sales and Sales team with clerical and administrative duties
- Maintain organized sales files and process contracts, proposals, and correspondence
- Answer phones and qualify incoming inquiry calls
- Assist in creative projects such as proposals and direct mail pieces
- Handle guest and client requests and complete necessary paperwork
- Enter group leads and build sales opportunities
- Coordinate event logistics including deliveries, amenities, and transportation
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and sales collateral
- Represent hotel in absence of Director of Sales
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
