Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality management, or related field
  • minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, hotel management, or related roles
  • experience managing multiple large-scale events and driving revenue
  • strong organizational skills
  • excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • willingness to work holidays, weekends and evenings
  • ability to travel to networking events and potential clients
  • proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and event management software

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Build group sales through designing and implementing creative plans to connect with various groups
  • coordinate all aspects of group visits to Mississippi Aquarium with clients and internal teams
  • develop and maintain relationships with clients to maximize event sales opportunities
  • promote event availability through networking and client engagement
  • identify and secure new B2B sales opportunities for employee passes, team building, and corporate partnerships
  • manage facilitation of corporate packages and ensure customer satisfaction
  • develop and manage consignment ticket sales program with local partners
  • oversee consignment operations including inventory management and stock replenishment
  • showcase consignment products to drive consumer interest and sales
  • track and report on consignment program performance and adjust strategies accordingly
