Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, hospitality management, or related field
- minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, hotel management, or related roles
- proven experience managing large-scale events and driving revenue
- strong organizational and communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- willingness to work holidays, weekends, and evenings
- ability to travel to networking events and potential clients
- proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and event management software

Job Duties
- Design and implement creative group sales plans to promote Mississippi Aquarium group offerings
- coordinate all aspects of group visits with clients and aquarium staff
- develop and maintain client relationships to maximize event sales opportunities
- promote event availability through networking and client engagement
- identify and secure B2B sales for employee passes, team building, and corporate partnerships
- manage client packages and ensure customer satisfaction through regular check-ins
- develop and oversee consignment ticket sales program with local partners
- manage consignment inventory, stock replenishment, and product presentation
- track, report, and adjust consignment program performance to meet sales targets
