Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Proactively generate group room and catering business through outside sales calls, prospecting, referrals, and participation in industry events
- cultivate new accounts while maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients
- respond to inbound inquiries promptly, conduct engaging site tours, and convert leads into confirmed business
- achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals while meeting weekly sales activity targets
- negotiate contracts with a clear understanding of pricing strategy, profitability, and client needs
- prepare proposals, bids, and contracts, ensuring accurate processing of deposits and documentation
- coordinate seamlessly with Front Office and Reservations teams to execute room blocks, VIP arrangements, and special requests
- deliver exceptional service by anticipating client needs, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- represent the resort at trade shows and networking events, managing all pre- and post-event follow-up
- maintain detailed and accurate client records and sales activities within Maestro and other systems
- serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure a cohesive, luxury-level experience
- identify and execute upselling opportunities, including premium menu enhancements, decor upgrades, and curated F&B experiences
- promote additional resort offerings such as spa services, overnight stays, and pre/post-event experiences
- collaborate with Spa and F&B teams to create unique, memorable packages
- support seasonal promotions and targeted campaigns to drive demand, especially during need periods
- monitor booking pace and proactively implement strategies to address gaps
- participate in weekly Sales & Catering, BEO, and leadership meetings
- contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis
- partner with Sales & Marketing to identify and develop new market segments
- build strong relationships with local vendors and partners to generate referral business
- uphold departmental integrity through teamwork, collaboration, and accountability
