Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous sales or event coordination experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to use hotel booking and event management software
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to lift at least 25 pounds

  • Previous sales or event management experience in the hospitality or travel industry is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, type and use various forms of technology
  • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds

Job Duties

  • Serve as group rooms coordinator for sales, including managing Hilton booking tools, including PEP and Delphi
  • Receive incoming inquiries
  • Manage group resumes and communications to the operations department
  • Assist with group turnover procedures
  • Assist with menu detail in both Delphi and published menus
  • Banquet Event Order distribution
  • Banquet Event Order daily changes
  • Manage event details, including prep work as well as during the event
  • Assist with suite assignment as needed
  • Assist with Business Travel segment as needed
  • Assist with any internal audits in the sales and catering department
  • Assist with group needs
  • Manage bookings for board room
  • Meet financial goals
  • Final folios/billing
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle last-minute client needs with ease
  • Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments
