Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality sales or event coordination is preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and property management systems
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities
- Must be able to work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed
Job Qualifications

- Experience in sales or event planning preferred
- Proficient in computer applications including Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook
- Exceptional communication skills in phone, email, and written correspondence
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment and multitask effectively

- Strong collaboration skills with guests and internal departments
Job Duties
- Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests
- Recognize opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding guest satisfaction for the hotel group
- Assist the sales team with preparing proposals, generating contracts, creating promotional materials and presentations
- Negotiate contracts for small meetings
- provide high levels of customer service to internal partners and external clients
- Respond promptly and professionally to internal partners and external customers
- Manage follow-up on inquiries for small meetings and events with or without guestrooms
- Negotiate banquet event orders (BEO), identify and price customer needs, up-sell where possible, and close the sale
- Communicate group details and changes to all hotel departments
- Present potential business at sales meetings to determine best customer mix
- Finalize and detail catering plans, orchestrate functions on-site and solve problems
- Develop prospecting best practices using varied methods
- Monitor blocked spaces and sleeping room blocks and initiate releases as needed
- Assist the sales team in managing calendars and important documents
- gain knowledge of hotel’s food and beverage products and function spaces
- Perform other duties as assigned
