  • Associates degree in hotel or hospitality or related field or equivalent experience/education combination
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen
  • Professional communication skills both verbal and written

Job Duties

  • Complete administrative tasks supporting all group sales efforts including preparing sales kits, documenting prospective accounts, organizing files, preparing contracts, preparation of invoices, purchasing office supplies and data entry
  • Complete Banquet Event Orders and Resumes for clients and operations to communicate specific needs, details and pricing
  • Enter accurate rooming lists, routing information, tax-exempt status and payment verification in company software systems
  • Monitor room blocks and communicate with property personnel weekly regarding group room pick-ups and rooming lists
  • Represent lodge in investigating and resolving group complaints including billing issues and contract discrepancies
  • Organize and coordinate client appreciation and in-house lodge events
  • Provide detailed information on meeting-specific needs throughout the booking process
  • Attend pre and post conference meetings as needed
  • Handle in-suite VIP packages and amenities
  • Maintain Posting Master account ledger keeping track of open accounts
  • Assist sales team with special projects
