Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of management experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry

  • Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and achieving financial targets
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to develop operational solutions

  • High attention to detail regarding food quality and compliance

Job Duties

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of employees including shift supervisors and team members
  • Hire, train, and onboard new employees ensuring understanding of roles and company standards
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support career development
  • Create and manage employee schedules for peak and off-peak hours
  • Address employee issues to maintain a positive work environment
  • Ensure highest level of customer satisfaction by maintaining service standards and addressing complaints
  • Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations ensuring cleanliness and efficiency
  • Manage food preparation according to quality standards
  • Monitor operational performance including speed of service and food quality
  • Implement and enforce health and safety policies and procedures
  • Review sales, labor, and inventory reports to meet performance targets
  • Control costs by managing labor, food, and inventory expenses
  • Analyze financial reports and implement cost-control measures to meet profit goals
  • Handle cash management duties including balancing and deposits
  • Develop sales strategies to increase check size and customer retention
  • Oversee inventory management and ordering
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Train employees on food safety and sanitation
  • Participate in local marketing and community engagement
  • Address operational challenges and make critical decisions
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance performance
