Job Requirements

  • ability to stand for extended periods of 4-8+ hours with periodic breaks
  • perform repetitive motions including frequent use of hands and arms
  • frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting, and reaching above eye level
  • capability to walk up and down stairs and use a step ladder
  • occasional sitting, talking, and active listening
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly using proper equipment or assistance for heavier loads
  • ability to move around the kitchen quickly and efficiently
  • compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to work in loud, fast-paced environments
  • willingness to work in varying temperature zones including hot kitchen areas and cold storage
  • awareness of safety hazards such as hot surfaces, sharp objects, and wet floors
  • adherence to personal protective equipment and safety training
  • adaptability to indoor and outdoor work settings

Job Qualifications

  • at least 2 years of management experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • experience in fast-casual or quick-service restaurant preferred
  • proven leadership and team development skills
  • strong customer service abilities
  • financial management experience including budgeting and cost control
  • effective problem-solving skills
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
  • strong attention to detail especially with food quality and safety

Job Duties

  • oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence
  • assist the restaurant manager with team leadership and performance management
  • maintain quality control and adherence to food safety standards
  • manage financial performance including budgeting and cost control
  • create and sustain a safe, clean, and efficient environment for guests and staff
  • resolve customer complaints and ensure superior service standards
  • foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and respect
