Job Requirements

  • ability to stand for extended periods of 4 to 8+ hours with breaks
  • perform repetitive motions using hands and arms such as chopping, stirring, and operating equipment
  • frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting, and reaching above eye level
  • ability to walk up and down stairs and use a step ladder
  • occasional sitting, talking, and active listening as needed
  • able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly with proper equipment or assistance for heavier loads
  • ability to move quickly and efficiently in the kitchen
  • compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to work in loud, fast-paced environments
  • tolerance for varying temperature zones including hot kitchen areas and cold storage
  • exposure to kitchen heat, noise, and cleaning chemicals with appropriate PPE and training
  • adaptability to indoor and outdoor job duties

Job Qualifications

  • at least 2 years of management experience in restaurant or hospitality industry
  • strong background in operations, staff management, and customer service
  • experience in fast-casual or quick-service restaurant preferred
  • proven leadership and team development skills
  • strong customer service and complaint resolution abilities
  • experience managing budgets and achieving financial targets
  • effective problem-solving skills
  • strong verbal and written communication
  • excellent organizational skills
  • attention to detail related to food quality and health standards

Job Duties

  • oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure high customer satisfaction and operational excellence
  • assist the Restaurant Manager with team leadership and staff development
  • maintain quality control and uphold food safety and cleanliness standards
  • manage financial performance including budgets and cost control
  • resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively
  • create a safe, clean, and efficient work environment for guests and employees
  • foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture
