Job Description

This job opportunity is with a restaurant that operates under a McDonald's franchise ownership model. While the establishment uses McDonald's logos, branding, and food products, it is independently owned and operated by a franchisee, which is a separate legal entity from McDonald's USA. The franchisee is fully responsible for all employment-related matters including hiring, firing, staffing, scheduling, and supervision. McDonald's USA does not govern these activities nor does it influence hiring decisions or employment conditions. This distinction is important for applicants to understand as their employment contract will be directly with the franchisee who owns the local restaurant.

Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Experience managing a high volume restaurant preferred
  • Ability to lead and develop a team
  • Strong commitment to customer service excellence
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the foodservice industry
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Previous general manager experience in high volume restaurant settings
  • Background in quick service restaurants preferred
  • Experience in hospitality or retail sectors beneficial
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work flexible hours according to business needs
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Job Duties

  • Manage restaurant operations to ensure profitability
  • Maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • Lead, coach, and develop Department Managers
  • Set and monitor goals for the restaurant and departments
  • Hire and develop leadership team including Department and Shift Managers
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, and employee supervision
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations
