Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to commute between East Meadow and Farmingdale locations
- Flexible schedule
- Ability to frequently walk, stand, reach, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work in environments exposed to grease, oil, heat, smoke, and noise
- Strong suggestive selling and negotiation skills
Job Qualifications
- Sales experience
- Qualified Food Operator certification
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Knowledge of labor scheduling and proprietary applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Sound decision making and analytical skills
- Ability to lead and work within a team environment
Job Duties
- Pack out holiday catering orders
- Assist in kitchen prep
- Take orders and answer phones
- Assist customers and suggestive selling
- Greet customers with a friendly smile and positive attitude
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operation
- Represent S.T.E.W. values in all customer and team interactions
