Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Previous food service or customer service experience preferred but not required
  • knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • positive attitude and commitment to teamwork

Job Duties

  • Prepare, portion, and stock fresh vegetables, fruits, toppings, dressings, and other salad bar items according to established recipes and standards
  • ensure the salad bar is fully stocked, visually appealing, and well-organized throughout service hours
  • monitor food quality, freshness, and rotation
  • promptly remove and replace items as needed
  • maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards, including proper labeling, temperature control, and cleaning procedures
  • clean and sanitize the salad bar area, utensils, containers, and surrounding service areas regularly
  • assist with inventory management by tracking usage, reporting shortages, and reducing waste
  • provide friendly and helpful customer service, answering questions and assisting guests as needed
  • support kitchen and dining staff with additional tasks as assigned
