Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • capacity to follow health and safety regulations
  • flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • reliable and punctual

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to follow recipes and portion controls accurately

Job Duties

  • Set up station(s) according to restaurant guidelines
  • restock all items as needed throughout the shift
  • follow recipes, procedures, portion controls, and presentation specifications
  • clean and maintain station practicing good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills
  • demonstrate understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment in station
  • perform basic preparation duties including handling raw produce and meats following restaurant specifications for quality and food handling standards
  • perform additional responsibilities as requested by Chefs or Managers
